Beach Trip Slide Show

And at last, we took a short hike down to the rocky shore for our last glimpse of the sea before heading home.
We survived 2020 and we are so looking forward to a better 2021. Of course, right now we are in limbo as we hunker down in the rain. The holidays have wrapped up. Kirk has a busy day today, but mail is slowing down and now we start ticking off the days until hiking season.
In the meantime, we can take a look at pictures from our last outdoor adventure in September when we stayed a few days at The Overlook Hotel in Lincoln City...
The Overlook is a self-proclaimed Scandinavian cliff-house with a few unit suites. It's quiet and homey, above a beautiful beach. We went at the end of September and enjoyed summer hot weather with our feet planted firmly in the cool sand. I ventured into the water a few times, got spanked by a couple of sneaker waves, and explored the tide pools left behind on large seashore rock formations.
Check out our pictures of our last big adventure of last season.
"There's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop
kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away."
